These tortoises are at risk because they are hunted for their meat and eggs. They are also killed to make medicine.
Their homes have also been destroyed by people building on coastlines and feeding grounds (such as coral reefs) are damaged by chemicals from farming.
Amina made her tortoise from old cardboard and scraps of paper.
